Android M (Muffin) en Google I/O 2015





Se acerca el final de mayo cuando Google o la compañía de Mountain View suele celebrar su conferencia anual más importante, la denominada Google I/O 2015. Android M (Muffin) en Google I/O 2015. Android M podría ser anunciando en unas tres semanas ahora viendo con más detalle la agenda del Google I/O 2015 conocemos otra de las novedades que nos espera la en evento para desarrolladores más importante de Google.

La Google i/O 2015 se celebrará en San Francisco los próximos 28 y 29 de mayo, con lo que podríamos estar a pocos días de conocer nuevos datos sobre su próximo sistema operativo. En ella es habitual que Google presente sus próximos planes de futuro. Ya en la keynote del año pasado dieron a conocer Android L, que a la postre se convertiría en Android 5.0 Lollipop, la última versión del sistema operativo de la compañía. Las especulaciones y los rumores se han disparado ya acerca de una posible presentación de la futura versión que sucederá a Android 5.0 y que, de momento pasaría a llamarse Android M y sería presentado el 28 de mayo.

Este rumor emana de un «descuido» de la propia compañía, del que se han hecho eco medios de comunicación como BGR. Al parecer Google ha hecho público un anuncio de convocatoria bajo la frase «Android for Work update», es decir «Android para el trabajo».

La fotografía que ilustra y anuncia este evento describe el objetivo de la cita y menciona Android M, la más que probable nueva versión de Google y que estaría orientada al mundo empresarial algo que de momento le gana Apple a Google. Al igual que ha hecho durante los últimos años, Google dará a conocer la última versión de su sistema operativo Android en su conferencia anual para desarrolladores Google I/O, que este año tendrá lugar el 28 de mayo. Ya queda menos para el 28 de mayo.

Tampoco se sabe cuál será el nombre final que recibirá Android M, aunque basándonos en los dulces nomrbes que preceden a las versiones ya presentadas, ésta podría seguir la misma línea.La letra M del nuevo sistema operativo de Android tendrá de nombre Muffin (magdalena). En concreto en la charla de “Android for Work update”, donde se puede leer perfectamente que Android M traerá el poder de Android a todos los lugares.

Los nombres de las diversas versiones de Android van por orden alfabético, siendo Lollipop la L y después llegaría la versión M. Quizás, de la misma manera que se creó una versión anticipada de Lollipop tengamos las primeras noticias de Android “M”, ¿La beta de Android 6.0 o Android 5.2?

La compañía no ha confirmado oficialmente la presentación del nuevo sistema, pero dentro de la programación del evento hay una referencia específica a «Android M», el nombre inicial que podría ser el sustituto de Android Lollipop.

Precisamente, Android Lollipop se presentó en el mismo evento el año pasado. Aunque esta versión de momento solo ha llegado al 10 por ciento de todos los dispositivos Android, Google parece que ya está listo para dar a conocer la nueva versión a los desarrolladores -la llegada a los dispositivos no se produciría hasta más adelante.

En la agenda vemos como el día 28 de mayo está la charla «Your app, now available hands-free» organizada por dos miembros de los departamentos de accesibilidad de Google, y que como el título indica es para poder usar con la voz las aplicaciones de nuestros dispositivos Android.Google presentará Voice Access, una nuevo servicio que permitirá a los desarrolladores hacer compatibles sus aplicaciones con el modo manos libres que parece que estrenará Android, aunque no se sabe si sólo para Android M o para versiones actuales. Los usuarios con Voice Access podrán utilizar las aplicaciones y el sistema operativo con su voz algo muy importante por ejemplo en Android Weaqr o Android Auto..
